End of 2011

This will be the last blog for this year, it’s been a whirlwind year for both Brent and myself.

I’ve enjoyed a trip to Thailand this year, we’ve had a special family member who is also a Photographer that has been very sick and made it through a tough battle.

We’ve had wonderful Bridal Couples, Birthdays and Corporates that we were able to meet and also provide repeat service for.

The Service Providers, coordinators have all played a special part in our lives this year.

Then lastly I’d like to thank all our DJ’s and Assistants that has always been there to assist when ever we needed them. DJ Carl, Sean, Andrew and our new assistant Gareth.

To each and every one of you we’d like to thank you in making our business a success.

Everything of the best for 2012 and looking forward to doing business with all of you.

Michelle & Ian – Allee Bleue Manor House

This was our last wedding for 2011.

Weather conditions were perfect at Allee Bleue for the celebration.

The ceremony was held by Daniel Brits at the Palm Gardens.

The manor house was just the perfect venue for a small intimate wedding.

All 28 guest were ushered to pre-drink at lawns of the estate.

This lovely couple was so relaxed on the day as everything run so smoothly.

We wish them all the best.

Abigail & James – Allee Bleue – 21st December 2011

This lovely couple celebrated their special day at the beautiful Allee Bleue Estate.

Many of the guests had flown in from all over the world for the occasion.

The ceremony was held at the Palm Gardens of the estate and then followed by pre-drinks under the oak trees.

The weather was perfect and not too hot with a slight breeze.

Once pre-drink were concluded all guests were then ushered to the courtyard were the reception was to be held.

To set the tone I played swing music as everyone were taking their seats.

Christine the co-ordinator from Allee Bleue did an outstanding job to see that everything ran smoothly on the day.

Abigail & James looked so relax together and really enjoyed themselves.

We wish the bridal couple all the bests for their future.

Mark and Donné – 22nd December 2011 – Zevenwacht

Mark le Grange from MLGphotography got married to Donné  from ICE Genetics at the lovely Zevenwacht Wine Estate.  The day was miserable but nothing could dampen this beautiful couples day.  The ceremony was moved in doors and the rest of the day went off smoothly.  Donné looked exquisite when she walked down the aisle.

It was such a privilege for me to work with Donné again, I’d like to wish them both everything of the best for their future.

Zoltan and Françoise 17 Dec 2011 – Nantes

Zoltan and Françoise got married at the stunning Nantes Estate in Paarl.  Françoise looked absolutely gorgeous, the two opened the dance floor as professional dancers.  This lovely couple lives in Canada and we’d like to wish them everything of the best for their future together.

Duende

We had the privilege of working with Duende at Paul and Sonja’s wedding at The Retreat in Camps Bay.  This new Duo is absolutely Brilliant, here’s some info on them.

Duende does any song requests and a unique approach towards well-known melodies, as well as male vocal well-known songs accompanied by the violin.
Artists we really enjoy covering are Sting, Elvis, Frank Sinatra, Nat King Cole, Bach, Vivaldi, Dave Mathews, Carpenters and many more.

Monika & Ronan – Palmiet Valley – 17th December 2011

This amazing wedding was co-ordinated by Kate Rawbone from Wedding Concepts.

I managed to meet up with the couple a few days before their big celebration.

We went through all the formalities and music in order for everything to be perfect.

The weather in Paarl was hot with no wind and just ideal for a wedding celebration.

It was an absolute pleasure to work with Kate as everything ran so smoothly.

Once the ceremony was concluded all the guests were ushered to the sundeck area.

Canapés were served as the wedding party was entertained with live music.

 

Monika and Ronan had booked me till 2am but then asked for me to continue playing until 4am as it was such a great party!

 

All the guests from abroad had a great time as the preferred beverage continued to flow.

I wish the happy couple all the best.

Victoria & Grant – Hidden Valley – 16th December 2011

I had been corresponding with Victoria via email for several months.

We only officially met on her wedding day. Grant and Victoria now reside in Switzerland.

There were many guests from abroad who had flown in for the occasion.

The ceremony was held in the wine cellar of Hidden Valley.

Photo’s and canapés were served on the perfectly manicured lawns of the estate, while background lounge music set the tone.

Fun was had by all and it was such a good party that we continued playing music for an additional hour.

This was a very relaxed couple and everything ran very smoothly on the day.

I wish them all the best.

JMC Growing People Growing Brands 15.12.11

This is also the second year round we are entertaining the JMC staff.  This year the theme was a kids party, the chose the Riverside Old Tennis Club of the venue choice.  They hired a Jumping Castle, Slippy Slide and had loads of fun including some Boere sports too.

Great event and I’d like to wish the JMC staff and management everything of the best for 2012.

Tom and Debbie 10.12.11 Edenheim

Tom and Debbie got married at the lovely Edenheim  Estate situated on the slopes of the Paarl Mountains.

Debbie looked exquisite when entering the ceremony area.

The ceremony was held at the dam, thereafter the reception was held in the venue which looked absolutely gorgeous.

We’d like to wish this lovely couple everything of the best with their future.
